Scott W. Hunter, 63, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Saugerties, NY, died Thursday, April 1st, 2021, under the loving care of Hospice, following a long-time battle with addiction.
He was born in Kingston, New York on April 18th, 1957, a son of the late Glenn and Margaret "Peg" (Myer) Hunter.
A self-employed carpenter most of his adult life, he was a quiet man who enjoyed sports, especially playing basketball. He loved watching his two favorite teams: the New York Mets and New York Giants.
Scott is survived by one daughter, Danielle (Ralph) Carpino of Kingston, two sons, Michael (Cristal) Hunter of Saugerties, and Matthew Hunter of Kingston, one sister, Laurie Lambert of Woodstock, GA, and 6 grandchildren. Several cousins also survive.
Scott's service and burial are private.
