Gaila Garber

Tom and Rose were hands-on grandparents while visiting their grandchildren in New York or Michigan. When not visiting, frequent phone calls kept them in-touch with their sons growing families. Before baby Patrick left their home from his first visit to NY in 1988, 'Grandma T' imprinted his footprints in powder on her bedroom mirror as a reminder of him. During visits to Michigan, they attended Pat's baptism, saw him grow into toddler-little boy years, toured his kindergarden school at open house, and watched him play little league baseball on his hometown teams. In 2006, they participated in Patrick's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. They were very proud of his accomplishment. Later that year, Pat spent time with his grandparents in New York.
I fondly remember Rose with her quiet demeanor, a realistic perspective and contentment radiating outward to humanity. A small memento from her still hangs in my kitchen with these words:
God holds your hand, and He holds mine
And keeps us close together
So no matter where our paths may lead
We'll be Friends Forever

As Matthew 11:28 says, ...And I will give you Rest...
Rose is at peace in God's comforting and ever-loving arms. Heartfelt prayers to Tom and the Triscari family as they celebrate Rose's long life as a woman of generosity, devoted kindness, and loving God.
Love always Mother Rose,
Gaila, Pat's mom

Darlene Freedman

I will always remember Aunt Rose with a gentle, sensitive and kind nature. She was devoted to Uncle Tom, her sons, Tommy, Timmy and grandsons. She loved her home and being a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook, baker and gardener who left us with recipes we shared with family and friends. Aunt Rose had a special love, respect and devotion for her older sister Kay. She was loved very much by all her nieces, nephews and their spouses as she was made a part of our lives for so many years. Aunt Rose was one of a kind, and as my brother would say, “so rare”.
