Mary Anne Woodworth, 69, of Lincoln St, Kingston, passed away peacefully while in the comforting presence of her family on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Kingston, NY on November 2nd, 1949, a daughter of the late Beatrice (Lockwood) Appollonia.
Mary Anne was employed as an administrative assistant with Verizon in Kingston for over 15 years.
She enjoyed visiting the casinos and camping with her family, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids, who called her "Mema".
She is survived by her husband of over 30 years George L. "Clem" Woodworth Jr., her children, Troy Sussin, and his wife Cheryl, of Saugerties, Jocelyn Sussin Swift, and her husband Michael, of New Paltz, Kyle Sussin of Florida, Jennifer Sussin Reynolds of Saugerties, George L. Woodworth III, and his wife Rose, of Kingston, Lance Woodworth, and his wife Stacey, of Voorheesville, NY, Nicole Woodworth Singley, and her husband David, of NC, two brothers, Charlie and John Lockwood of Kingston, grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Devin and Morgan Sussin, Alijah Sussin, Michaela Swift, Sierra Reynolds, Emma Woodworth, Judson and Hannah Woodworth, and Eva Singley. Also surviving are her mother-in-law Anneliese Woodworth, best friend and caretaker Betty Williams, special friend Liz Van Steenburgh, and aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The service will be held 10:00 am on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment at Hudler Cemetery in Mt. Tremper will be private.
In lieu of fresh flowers, the family suggests indoor plants for loved ones to take home and nurture in memory of Mary Anne, or a contribution in Mary Anne's memory to a charity of choice.
