Obituary

John J. Reilly, 83, of Columbus, GA, formerly of Connelly, NY, died January 2, 2019.

He was born on August 18, 1935 in Esopus, NY, a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Bechtold) Reilly.

John was a career US Army veteran for over 23 years, serving in Vietnam and Germany. He enjoyed cooking.

He is survived by his significant other, Anne Logan, three stepsons, Vincent, Norman and David Cosler, all of Columbus, GA, two brothers Vincent Reilly of Lake Katrine and Thomas Reilly of Port Ewen, four nieces and one nephew.

He is predeceased by his first wife, Irmgard Reilly, his second wife Willie Belle Reilly, and one brother Charles Reilly.

Cremation will be held in Georgia followed by burial at Fort Benning Post Cemetery in Georgia. There are no calling hours.
